Biggest South Korean Exchange, Coinone, Includes Litecoin to its Platform

Charlie Lee, Litecoin creator, should be happy because of this achievement. Coinone, the most important South Korean exchange has included Litecoin to its platform. The platform exchange has announced that in the first 24 hours of Litecoin trading, they have processed more than $3.2 million dollars.

Litecoin Tries to Show its Potential

This is good news for Litecoin, after some time in which everyone was paying attention to the main cryptocurrency player, Bitcoin. Litecoin price has been growing since the beginning of the year, when it was traded around $4 dollars. After the market knew this information about Coinone adding Litecoin to its platform, the currency spiked to more than $60 dollars per coin.

Since the Chinese decision to ban ICOs and Cryptocurrency exchanges, Litecoin was struggling to cross the $60 dollars’ barrier. At the moment, we have a positive day for all the top 20 cryptocurrencies, but Litecoin is in the first positions with a 6% increase in its price.

The South Korean Won accounts for 6,5% of the cryptocurrency trading volume. It is the third biggest market after the Japanese Yen and the United States Dollar. That will give a big trading market for Litecoin that will for sure experience positive gains in the near future.

Litecoin and Vertcoin Atomic Swap

Some time ago, Charlie Lee, announced in Twitter that Litecoin (LTC) and Vertcoin (VTC) could achieve an atomic swap. This technology allows direct trades between different blockchain and would compete directly with cryptocurrency platform exchanges.

These are absolutely great news for Litecoin, as it proves its growth potential once again.
