What is QLINK (QLC)?
QLINK until now is the first decentralized mobile network which aims to provide its users with consistent telecommunication services via the use of blockchain technology. Smart contracts help to make the QLINK project better and more affordable.
QLINK uses it’s own token on its blockchain called the QLC which helps to execute transactions on the blockchain. Users also can share their tokens within the ecosystem with the help of smart contracts which allows in exchanging their tokens for incentives and rewards.
QLINK plans to release a mobile and desktop app as well. The mobile app will allow users connect to wifi hotspots, gain access to mobile data, and a whole lot of other things. QLINK developers have referred to the use of the application as a technology to serve as a wireless hotspot. The desktop application is similar but with an extensive feature that purchases unused E2P SMS’s faster and more efficient, which allows users transfer contents within the network.
QLINK presently exists on the NEO blockchain, so, therefore, can be stored on the NEON wallet. Click here to see all wallets available for NEO on their official website. You can also make use of the NEOTRACKER web wallet for convenience.
Note: Make sure you don’t leave too many cryptocurrencies on your web wallets to avoid losing them to cyber attack activities. Just enough for your daily transactions are adviced.
The QLINK hasn’t been listed on so many exchanges, but the best and easiest way to purchase some QLC tokens right now would be to exchange some of your Ether coins for the QLC. The following step-by-step guide walks you through the exchange process on the KuCoin Exchange.
Step 1: Register an account and login on the platform.
It’s important that every user registers an account on the platform. Without this, you do not have access to the exchange utility of the KuCoin Exchange. To register, click here and fill out the short form required.
Enter any active email address you have access to and choose a secure password for your account. When this is done, a mail is sent to the email address that requires you to click on the verification link in it to activate your account.
After all, these are done, you can now proceed to log on to your section of the KuCoin exchange.
Step 2: Fund your account with some Ethers to be exchanged for QLC tokens.
Now that you are logged in on the platform, you need to deposit some funds (Ether or Litecoin are recommended for the lowest fees and ease of purchase), probably the same value as how much QLC you’d like to get in return or more if you plan to buy other assets on the exchange.
Before you can make deposits on the KuCoin platform, it’s required that you first set up your two-factor authentication security as made mandatory on the KuCoin platform. This reduces the risk of losing your cryptocurrencies as only you have access to the device on which the authentication codes are generated, and therefore you alone have access to your account. The guide to set up the google authentication application is seen on your screen when you click on the deposit link for the first time.
After setting that up, click on the ASSETS link at the top of the page and locate Ether from this list of assets displayed. Click on the DEPOSIT link in front of it, and an Ether address for your KuCoin account is generated. Copy the generated Ether address to your external wallet where your Ethers are stored and send some to your KuCoin wallet. Wait a moment and refresh the ASSETS page and the Ethers you sent should be displayed.
Step 3: Exchange your Ethers for QLINK (QLC).
To make the exchange, click on MARKETS link at the top of the page then click on the Ether tab.
Use the search box at the top of the cryptocurrency pairs section to locate the QLC/ETH pair.
At the bottom right section of the page, you’ll be asked to enter a code from your Google Authentication application, do this to enable that section.
The first box on the BUY section of the site shows you the best market price in Ethers you pay for each QLC purchased.
In the second field, click on the MAX link, and this will fill in the box with the amount of QLCs your deposited Ethers can purchase.
When done, click on the Buy Button.
You QLC tokens should be deposited in its wallet on the KuCoin exchange in munites.
