Neo3 Update

The whole NEO network is moving forward to the implementation of the Neo3 update that would allow this blockchain to reach new users and provide updated functionalities. 

At the moment, consensus and normal nodes on the network are currently connected to other nodes so they can spread information. This is great for the network that becomes certainly distributed and it makes it more efficient in the way it works. 

At the same time, the blockchain and NEO developer Zhang Tao explained that there are several ways to implement distribution through P2P messages on the NEO network. One of these ways is by adding a state root to PrepareRequest consensus message and signature in order to Commit a consensus message.

The second and third possibilities involve using a dBFT process for consensus on state roots that would be separated from the whole system, and also having consensus node signing and broadcasting the current state root after a block creation. This is expected to have a positive effect on NEO price. 

QLC Chain Combating Coronavirus

The Coronavirus has reached a large number of countries and affected thousands of individuals all over the world. The most affected countries were China, South Korea and Italy. The main question is which are going to be the next affected countries. 

Nonetheless, QLC Chain, a decentralized provider of NaaS explained that it has integrated a new itinerary checking tool into its mobile wallet. According to a recently released blog post, the tool will be tracking the movement of thousands of millions fo mobile subscribers of China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom in order to create reliable travel records avoiding users’ to share private data. 

Q-Wallet will be integrating other counter-Covid-19 services in order to prevent the spread of the virus in other regions or countries around the world. This is a great example of how blockchain technology can be used to contain the current fast-spreading coronavirus epidemic.
