Salesforce the important technology and cloud company, is thinking about investing in blockchain products to improve its commercial strategy. The company has always been in the forefront of technology developments. As many other enterprises, the company has decided to embrace this promising technology to offer better products to the market.
Salesforce Blockchain Adoption
As reported by Business Insider, Salesforce co-founders Marc Benioff and Parker Harris, explained that the company is working in a new blockchain product. According to Mr Benioff, the company has been investigating how to include Blockchain technology into Salesforce products.
Distributed ledger technology is having an important impact in the life of millions of individuals around the globe. Why? Because it is changing important aspects in the way we relate with things. Retail stores are controlling how the food was harvested, processed, and how it arrived to the dishes of the buyers.
Not only the financial and technological industry are going to be benefited by this revolutionary technology.
“I was thinking a lot about different technologies and different things that are going on,” Benioff said. “I have been thinking a lot about what is Salesforce’s strategy around blockchain and around cryptocurrencies. […] I hope that we would have a blockchain and cryptocurrency solution for all of our customers, which is an exciting area for all of them. There are more ideas that we can possible execute [With Blockchain Technology].”
While talking with the interviewer, he explained that he started to think about Blockchain technology once he heard about it at the Davos World Economic Forum earlier this year. Benioff commented that it is important to take into account all these things and analyse how they could change customer’s life and contact with the company.
Later this year, Salesforce will host an annual customer conference In San Francisco known as Dreamforce. This would be an important event where the company would be ready to launch a Blockchain product to the market that would change Salesforce’s customers’ life.
“We need to get this done by Dreamfoce,” Marc Benioff commented.
