Before this time, the UpCoin cryptocurrency platform was to start live trading sometime in February but failed to launch for issues regarding the security of their exchange.
The development team has been working hard to make sure the platform is fully functional with no flaws. Developers are now reaching the end of their testing phase, getting the platform set for official launch.
Now, the exchange is set, and the new date for launch is on the 23rd of April, 2018.
As announced by the UpCoin team, demo balanced will be removed within the next 2 – 3 days and demo trading disabled on the platform. Also, positions entered on the platform will be closed and bonuses returned to the way it was.
Before the actual live cryptocurrency trading starts on Monday, 23rd April 2018, deposits and withdrawals would be enabled for account holders on the platform.
Before now, the cryptocurrency trading platform will offer over a thousand trading pairs, but from launch, over a hundred coins would be available for trading. The platform will continually list more coins with time. UpCoin will also list profitable ICO coins/tokens.
Fees on the platform are so far very cheap compared to other exchange platforms. There are no fees attached to depositing on the platform. However, fees on withdrawals are kept at 0.1% (Maker Fee) and 0.2% (Taker Fee). UpCoin promises to leave transaction fees that way for the next ten years at least.
UpCoin has also made its intentions clear on supporting fiat deposits and withdrawals.
Latest Coin Listing
UpCoin currently announces adding up new tokens to the platform. Tokens added includes VeChain, Bytom, Populous, and DigixDao. These pairs can be traded against major cryptocurrencies like the Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC) coins.
The UpCoin Token
The Exchange intends releasing its token shortly after launch. Though not much has been said concerning this, the token will probably be for paying of trading fees and also would be exchangeable for other cryptocurrencies.
The UpCoin Cryptocurrency Exchange platform offers a fast execution of its user’s processing over 5 million transactions every second. Compared to other platforms, users are guaranteed an optimal performance on the platform at all times.
