Ondo Finance’s Oasis Pro Markets Becomes DTCC Fund/SERV’s First Tokenization-Platform Member

Ondo Finance announced on September 16, 2026 that its subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets has become the first tokenization platform to join DTCC’s Fund/SERV, a network that processes more than 85% of US mutual fund transaction activity.

According to Ondo Finance’s announcement, Oasis Pro Markets, a U.S.-registered broker-dealer that Ondo acquired in October 2025, holds registrations covering broker-dealer, trading system, and transfer-agent services in the United States, according to FINRA’s BrokerCheck records.

By joining Fund/SERV, the subsidiary gains a standardized connection to fund companies, wealth platforms, and service providers already using the network, replacing what would otherwise require separate technical integrations for each distributor.

Ondo announced the development through its official X account, framing the milestone as the first time a tokenization company has entered the network:

The announcement did not disclose specific tokenized products that will use the integration, expected transaction volumes, or when clients will begin using the new connection.

What Fund/SERV Does for Fund Transactions

Fund/SERV sits at the center of mutual fund transaction processing in the United States, handling account-level data, trade confirmations, reconciliation, distributions, and regulatory reporting across thousands of counterparties simultaneously.

DTCC Managing Director and Head of Wealth & Investment Solutions Talia Klein said interoperability between traditional infrastructure and digital-asset ecosystems will be critical to achieving scale and broad market adoption. Wealth platforms already connected to DTCC don’t need new technology to receive Ondo’s products as a result of the membership.

Why This Is a Different System Than DTCC’s Tokenization Pilot

DTCC has separately been developing a tokenization service that converts eligible DTC-held securities into blockchain-recorded forms, with limited production transactions planned for July 2026 followed by a fuller launch in October, a shift covered more broadly in a breakdown of how the Clarity Act could affect altcoins and tokenized assets.

Fund/SERV serves a distinct function within that broader DTCC infrastructure, focused on communication and transaction processing between fund managers and distributors rather than securities tokenization itself.

Ondo’s involvement with DTCC’s tokenization initiatives dates back to at least July 2026, meaning this Fund/SERV membership represents a formal commitment following months of prior collaboration rather than a first introduction between the two organizations.

What This Membership Does Not Guarantee

The new connection does not constitute a distribution agreement for Ondo’s products. Financial institutions, wealth platforms, and other Fund/SERV participants would still need to individually decide whether to support specific tokenized funds Ondo offers, a distinction the companies were careful to clarify alongside the announcement.

Ondo’s broader tokenization business, led by Ondo Finance president Ian De Bode, has continued expanding across other fronts, with its Ondo Stocks platform having surpassed $1 billion in total value locked as the company adds products and distribution channels while building out its U.S. infrastructure.

Why Institutional Tokenization Increasingly Looks Like This

Early blockchain projects often focused on creating alternative financial systems entirely outside traditional markets. Institutional tokenization has instead increasingly focused on connecting digital assets with existing financial structures, including custody, settlement, compliance, and transaction processing, since tokenized securities need infrastructure that works alongside systems banks and asset managers already use.

The Ondo and DTCC connection reflects that broader shift toward compatibility rather than replacement, with the practical impact depending on how many Fund/SERV participants ultimately choose to support tokenized products moving through the network.

What Comes Next for Oasis Pro’s Fund/SERV Access

The next stage will depend on how Oasis Pro Markets uses its Fund/SERV membership and whether additional financial institutions adopt tokenized securities workflows through the connection. Ondo has not disclosed specific products launching through the integration, an expected adoption timeline, or the number of institutions likely to use it.

What this means for you: Ondo’s Fund/SERV membership shows tokenization increasingly focused on connecting blockchain-based assets with existing financial infrastructure rather than operating separately from traditional markets.

The immediate impact for individual investors remains limited, since institutions still need to individually choose to support specific tokenized products, but infrastructure developments like this could influence how future investment products are issued, processed, and accessed.
