Wozniak Joins Equi; Bullish On Blockchain
Blockchain is a technology that is being adopted all over the world. Different companies and governments are working with it in order to improve the services they offer. Some of the companies using blockchain are JP Morgan, Facebook, and Amazon, among others.
Wozniak’s entrance to the blockchain market is a very positive thing. He makes it very clear that Equi would not be a fake cryptocurrency to pump & dump, but instead, it would be used for real-world purposes. The company aims to sell shares of stocks in different companies and tokenize assets such as real estate.
Mr Wozniak commented about his involvement with Equi:
“I’m involved with, very soon, my first time being involved in a blockchain company. [It’s] called Equi… Our approach is not like a new currency or something phoney where an event will make it go up in value. It’s a share of stock, in a company.”
Equi has a very experienced team behind that is working in order to provide the best solutions to investors. The Equi token will be a security token which might be issued in the blockchain island of Malta.
“This company is doing investment by investors with huge track records in good investments in things like apartment buildings in Dubai,” he mentions. “We have one person in our group who has listed out a whole apartment building for Bitcoin… We might be starting up in Malta around the time of their blockchain conference.”
Wozniak is a very important figure in the technological and entrepreneurial world. He has also witnessed how the internet surged and evolved over the years. He is very interested in the technology and the possible applications related to it.
Finally, he compared Apple to the famous blockchain network Ethereum. He said that Ethereum is doing for dApps what Apple did for developers. Developers have the necessary tools to build their own applications.
