Kinetiq Airdrop Guide: kPoints Ended, KNTQ Launched

Kinetiq

Status (October 2026): Kinetiq’s points program has ended. The KNTQ token launched on Hyperliquid on November 27, 2025, and on October 1, 2026, Kinetiq said the final kPoints had been distributed after 46 weeks. kPoints holders then got a 10-day window to buy KNTQ from a combined allocation of 50 million tokens at a fixed $0.26 each at kinetiq.xyz/kntq. Unlike a typical airdrop, claiming costs money: buyers pay in USDC on HyperEVM. Any KNTQ left unclaimed goes back to the Kinetiq Foundation. We found no new points season. Key Takeaways

  • Kinetiq is a non-custodial liquid staking protocol on the Hyperliquid blockchain, allowing users to stake HYPE tokens and receive kHYPE, a yield-bearing token usable in DeFi while maintaining liquidity.
  • Kinetiq’s StakeHub autonomously delegates staked HYPE to top-performing Hyperliquid validators based on performance, uptime, and decentralization metrics, optimizing yield and network security.
  • Kinetiq Earn deploys HYPE and kHYPE across HyperEVM DeFi protocols (e.g., Hyperlend, Felix, Valantis) to maximize risk-adjusted returns, with over $700M in total kHYPE TVL as of early August 2025.

Disclaimer: Crypto airdrops are promotional events where tokens are distributed to existing holders of a cryptocurrency or to individuals who meet certain criteria. While airdrops can be a way to acquire tokens at no cost, they also involve risks. There’s no guarantee that the airdropped tokens will increase in value, and there may be associated fees or requirements. Additionally, airdrops can be susceptible to scams and phishing attempts. Always exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any airdrop opportunity before participating.

What Is Kinetiq?

1

Kinetiq is a liquid staking protocol built on the Hyperliquid blockchain, enabling users to stake HYPE tokens and receive kHYPE. This yield-bearing token maintains liquidity for use in DeFi applications.

Through its autonomous StakeHub system, Kinetiq delegates staked HYPE to top-performing validators based on performance, uptime, and decentralization metrics, optimizing yield while securing the Hyperliquid network.

The protocol also offers Kinetiq Earn, powered by Veda, which deploys HYPE and kHYPE across curated DeFi strategies on HyperEVM, such as lending and DEX liquidity provision, to maximize risk-adjusted returns.

Headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, Kinetiq Research is venture-backed by investors like Chorus One and Maven 11, focusing on financial software and blockchain innovation.

How Did Users Earn kPoints?

Until kPoints ended in October 2026, users earned them with these steps. Staking HYPE for kHYPE still works, but it no longer earns kPoints.

👉 STEP 1: Head over to https://kinetiq.xyz/ and connect your Web3 wallet.

👉 STEP 2: Swap some HYPE for kHYPE.

👉 STEP 3: Keep an eye on official announcements.

If you held kPoints, connect the same wallet or account at kinetiq.xyz/kntq to see your KNTQ allocation. The claim window opened on October 1, 2026, and lasts 10 days. Follow @Kinetiq_xyz on X for official news, and ignore claim links sent by anyone else.
