The experience is made for everyone, but Puma Pass users get special perks that other people don’t get.
Black Station, Puma’s 3D metaverse, debuted on June 13. Developers call Black Station an “experiential home” for product drops that gives Puma Pass nonfungible token (NFT) users “unbridled access.”
The company says the experience is for everyone, but only those with RB tokens airdropped to Puma Pass users can buy a digital “Rulebreaker” sneaker and two digital wearables. Devs wrote:
“If you do not own an RB token there is still so much to explore. Unkai, our city in the clouds, and Unter, our exhilarating club below, both are filled with mysteries to explore and collect.”
From June 13-20 on Black Station, RB token holders can burn it to access metaverse product drops. According to its roadmap, Black Station will feature a few more general events and NFT drops this year, with 2024 events still in development.
The experience stays open until June 23. Puma had said before that it was looking into other chains, but it chose to stick with Ethereum. You can connect your wallet and use ETH to buy digital items, but you can also use a credit card.
In February 2022, it was said that Puma filed a domain with the Ethereum Name Service and changed its Twitter name to Puma.eth. At the time, Puma had engaged in NFT collections like Cool Cats NFT, Lazy Lions, Gutter Cat Gang, and CatBlox that were based on cats.
