Binance moves forward in the market with new important hires. In a recent blog post released by Binance they’ve informed that the former J.P. Morgan Chase Executive and State Street Legal Counsel, Josh Goodbody, will be joining the cryptocurrency exchange in order to lead the expansion of the platform in Europe and Latin America.
Binance Hires New Important Team Member
The financial and business expert will be helping the company adapt to new and changing conditions in both Europe and Latin America and he will be also in charge of leading the institutional business side of the firm.
Binance is one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world in terms of trading volume and liquidity for several digital assets. This allows the company to be one of the most popular among crypto traders and enthusiasts. Moreover, its wide range of services attracts a larger number of users.
Goodbody will have to plan Binance’s strategy with the Binance Jersey exchange launched last year and how it will deal with Latin America, a region constantly growing and with challenges not present in other continents.
On the matter, Binance wrote about it:
“Goodbody will focus on growing innovative products tailored to retail and institutional users alike for Binance’s European and Latin American markets.”
Binance has been trying to add fiat options to enter the market in a wide range of locations and nations from all over the world. The firm started with its Binance Uganda exchange and moved forward with Binance Jersey and Binance.US. There are many other jurisdictions that have already fiat on-ramp solutions to handle virtual currencies.
Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, commented on this new hire:
“We are excited to welcome Josh to the Binance family and look forward to his integral role in strengthening our presence and growth in the European and Latin American markets.”
This is certainly a big player that will combine its financial utility with its knowledge in the blockchain space to help Binance grow, expand and improve in a wide range of countries.

This is not the first time that Goodbody works in the crypto space. Indeed, he worked in the past at Huobi, another recognized crypto exchange. He was Head of Europe and the Americas. Now, Goodboy seems to share the same philosophy as Binance to democratize money and have a positive impact on people’s lives.
