If you do not know what to study yet, here is the answer. Dubai is hosting and backing the first Blockchain developer training program in partnership with a Brooklyn-based Blockchain company. The graduation ceremony was supported by Dubai’s smart-city government program, Smart Dubai.
The course is taken online by 1300 applicants from 96 different countries around the world and it is being operated by ConsenSys Academy. An incredible opportunity that will start to shorten the gap between the technological demand and the offer.
What is the program about?
“Seamlessly bring your company into the Ethereum ecosystem. ConsenSys Academy provides immersive 2-5 day training sessions for technical and non-technical stakeholders customized to your organization”, reads ConsenSys webpage.
The Ethereum Blockchain can be used by governments, healthcare providers, educational institutions, financial services and more. Different aspects of our life are ruled by this technology, citizen identification, voting management, loyalty programs, support of electronic records, etc.
During the course, the students work on Ethereum Blockchain projects and with developers. The graduation ceremony witnessed 58 blockchain developers from different countries.
The Smart Dubai Director-general Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr said: “Hosting this first graduating class here in Dubai is a testament to the emirate’s status as a leader in future technologies. ConsenSys Academy’s initiative to address the global shortage in Blockchain developers resonates with our objectives at Smart Dubai.”, reported cointelegraph.
Bitcoin is gaining support
Peter Thiel, co-founder of Pay Pal, has made a positive statement towards Bitcoin. “It is like a reserve from money, it is like gold and it is just a store of value. If Bitcoin ends up being the cyber equivalent of gold, it has a great potential left”, he commented.
We all know that pay-pal does not allow transactions in Bitcoin because of their way of operating, but since the very beginning, Peter Thiel was supporting Bitcoin and its potential growth. Even though, he didn’t support, with the same emphasis, other cryptocurrencies.
If this billionaire can convince some people to invest in Bitcoin, the price of the virtual currency could surprise us and arrive at new records.
