Request Network – BTC and ERC20 Support, Blockfolio Signal Launches, Consensus 2018

The Request Network Foundation is working in promoting blockchain technology using a framework that allows everyone to develop their own financial solutions. In a blog post uploaded on May the 11th, Robbin Mazurel, Brand Manager at Request Network Foundation, released the new project updates.

Request Network Project Update

One of the most important updates is the fact that the company was able to deploy ERC20 & BTC support on the Request Network mainnet.

The post explains as follows:

“After extensive internal testing and a successful audit of the ERC20 contracts by Clement Lesaege, CTO at Kleros, both BTC and ERC20 support is now operational within the Request Network protocol library. Now every developer can integrate BTC and supported ERC20 tokens as a payment option in their dApp. The first tokens that are available today are KNC, OMG & REQ, with DGX & DAI coming soon.”

PwC France Visits Request Network Foundation

Request Network Foundation hosted the PwC Blockchain lab France at the offices in Singapore. They were able to gave insights into how the Request Network protocol will impact the way systems like accounting, payments, and invoicing operate.

Brice Sturms, Strategic Partnerships at Request Network Foundation said:

“Collaborating with the PwC Blockchain lab this past week gave us tremendous insight into the real world applications for our technology. The team was very knowledgeable and were a big help in helping us define use cases, and how to best implement the moving forward.”

Request Network Joins the Blockfolio Social Media Platform Beta

After talks with the Blockfolio team, the company is happy to announce that they have joined other blockchain projects in the Blockfolio Signal Beta. The Beta incorporates promising blockchain teams to spread project insight directly to the Blockfolio community, explains the post.

Consensus 2018

There is just one weekend from the Consensus Conference 2018. Brice will be strengthening Request Network presence in New York City at consensus 2018. The Consensus Conference is one of the most important blockchain and cryptocurrency conferences all over the world which will start the next week.
