Who Is John Patrick Mullin?

Mullin completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and International Business at the John Cook School of Business, Saint Louis University, in 2014. He later earned a Master’s in Technology Economics and Management from Tongji University and a Master’s of Science in Management from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in 2016.

Early Career in Finance and Research

After finishing his Master’s degree, John Patrick Mullin began his career as a research associate at Guotai Junan, a financial services company in China. He later moved up to roles as an associate and then a senior buy-side research analyst, working there until January 2018. 

He also wrote articles for LinkedIn China and Cointelegraph during this time, sharing ideas on finance, blockchain, and new technologies. He also worked with the Institute of Life (IOL) and mentored early-stage startups through Startupbootcamp, expanding his work outside traditional finance.

Leading in FinTech and Online Groups

In early 2018, Mullin became a regional director for FinTech Connector (FTC), an online network that links FinTech entrepreneurs and startups with experts and investors.
