Is there a Squeekchain airdrop?

No token airdrop has been announced. What Squeekchain offers is a whitelist place for its Squeek NFT mint. Its free Genesis campaign, open since 28 October 2026, lets you link an X account, sign a message with your wallet and collect Aura points. More Aura gives you a better place on the whitelist, and Squeeks are the NFTs that earn SQK, the project’s token.

The SQK token is described in Squeekchain’s docs, with a cap of 2.1 billion, and its contracts are live on the Sepolia testnet only. On 3 November 2026 the docs said the Squeek mint hasn’t begun and that details will be shared soon. Squeekchain hasn’t announced a SQK launch date, a mainnet contract, a mint price, an end date for Genesis or any free allocation of SQK or Squeeks.

What Squeekchain is

Squeekchain calls itself a hamster-powered proof-of-work toychain on Ethereum. Squeektoshi, a Syrian hamster, runs on the WHEELY9000, a wheel device that counts magnet passes as work. The work is grouped into ten-minute rounds, verified and settled on Ethereum, where it completes Squeek blocks. No running means no blocks, and the docs say his welfare comes before mining output and the livestream.

Anyone can build on the public work record without permission, and community developers have already made dashboards and games from Squeekchain’s public API.

How Aura and SQK rewards work

Aura is the Genesis points score, earned through badges, and new badges are added over time. A community guide from 2 November 2026 sorts them into three paths. Clout covers signing up, linking X and Discord, and invites, with badges at 1, 5 and 25 counted invites. Code covers a Tester badge for transactions to Squeekchain’s verified Sepolia contracts and builder badges for submitted projects. Capital covers holder badges: 100 Aura for each listed NFT collection a linked wallet holds at a snapshot, up to 500 in total, across 20 collections such as Punks, BAYC or Milady. On 3 November 2026 the Genesis page marked Capital as not open yet.

Aura from all badges adds up, and the leaderboard places members in tiers from Member through Bronze and Silver to Gold. Squeekchain’s community feed counted 28,826 Genesis members and about 4.4 million Aura on 3 November 2026. Squeekchain hasn’t said how many whitelist places each tier gets.

SQK itself comes from mining. Each completed Squeek block issues 6,900 SQK, shared across all active Squeeks by power. A Squeek’s level sets its maximum power, and SQK staked to it raises its power toward that limit. The whitepaper (version 1.0, October 2026) sets a 210 million SQK premine, 10% of the cap, for a protocol-owned SQK/ETH pool on Uniswap v4, which the docs call Hamster-Owned Liquidity. The other 1.89 billion SQK is issued over three years, halving each year.

Squeekchain airdrop step-by-step guide

These steps join the free Genesis campaign and build your Aura, with no guarantee of a whitelist place or a token.

1. Open the Squeekchain Genesis page, connect an EVM wallet and link your X account. Verifying the wallet is a signature, with no transaction and no fee.

   Warning Use only squeekchain.com and links posted by @squeekchain. Genesis never needs a deposit, and no real project asks for your seed phrase. A fresh wallet with no funds in it is enough.

2. Open your profile settings and connect Discord for its badge. Then follow @squeekchain, where mint details will be posted.

3. Copy your referral link from the profile settings and share it. An invite only counts after the new member verifies a wallet and links X, and only friends whose X account is at least a year old count toward the bigger invite badges.

4. Scroll down the Genesis page to see the other badges. New ones are added over time.

5. Optional: for the Tester badge, send a transaction from your verified wallet to one of Squeekchain’s verified contracts on Sepolia. You need Sepolia test ETH from a faucet. Squeekchain’s own Sepolia app runs at sepolia.squeekchain.com.

   Warning Check that your wallet is on the Sepolia network before you confirm, and skip third-party pages that ask you to send a transaction for a badge.

6. If you build software, submit a project made with the Squeekchain docs and public API in the Code section of the Genesis page for a builder badge.

7. Check your rank on the Genesis leaderboard and watch @squeekchain for the mint phases, price and date. None of these has been announced.

Squeekchain costs and fees

Genesis is free: the wallet check is a signature, and linking X and Discord costs nothing. The Tester badge needs Sepolia test ETH, which is free from faucets. Holder badges only count NFTs a wallet already held at a snapshot.

The Squeek mint will cost money: the whitepaper lists 8,888 Squeeks for a community sale at a price still to be decided. The docs FAQ says claiming SQK rewards costs an Ethereum network fee, even when a claim fails.

Squeekchain risks and eligibility

Squeekchain calls itself a toychain, and its whitepaper promises no price, return or liquidity. Blocks depend on one hamster choosing to run, so gaps are normal. On Sepolia, one owner controls governance, the Guardian and the Hamster-Owned Liquidity; the Guardian can pause settlement, and the mining contracts can be upgraded through a timelock. The docs call these testnet settings and give no mainnet policy yet.

Copycat tokens are the main risk for now. Price sites, including a Coinbase page, list tokens called SqueekChain (SQUEEK) and SQUEEK (SQK) on Ethereum with a 1 billion supply. That supply doesn’t match the 2.1 billion SQK cap in the docs, and Squeekchain has published no mainnet contract. A KuCoin News post from 30 October 2026 says the team will announce the contract only from @squeekchain. Treat any SQK or SQUEEK token you can buy today as unofficial, and don’t trust contract addresses shared in replies or private messages.

Squeekchain lists no excluded countries or eligibility rules beyond the badges. Testnet SQK and test Squeeks have no value, a whitelist place doesn’t guarantee a Squeek, and testnet activity doesn’t guarantee any token.

Who is behind Squeekchain?

The docs and whitepaper don’t name a team. A KuCoin community summary from 25 October 2026 names Pillhead (@pillheadddd on X) as the builder, and the whitepaper reserves 111 of the 9,999 Squeeks for the team. The docs’ minting page instead puts all 1,111 non-mint Squeeks in Hamster-Owned Liquidity. We found no funding round, CryptoRank lists none, and the security docs mention no audit.
