Is there a Loaf airdrop?

No. Loaf Markets hasn’t announced a token, an airdrop or any reward linked to a future token. It runs the League of Loaf, a trading competition on its testnet. You trade mock assets with 100,000 test USDC, and the top 200 players in each round share real USDC prizes from a 50,000 USDC pool.

Round 3 started on 29 October 2026 and ends at 00:00 UTC on 5 November 2026. Rounds 4 and 5 have no dates yet. The testnet itself has no end date. CryptoRank lists the testnet as a way to become eligible for “future rewards”, but Loaf’s docs and posts mention no reward beyond the USDC prizes.

What Loaf is

Loaf describes itself as a self-custodial, hybrid decentralized exchange for real-world assets. Each physical asset, such as a luxury home, a data centre or an energy project, gets its own market. Orders are matched off-chain in Loaf’s order book and settle on-chain, and Loaf’s in-house market maker, Loaf Liquidity (LLP), quotes both sides.

The assets trade as property tokens, which Loaf’s docs describe as ERC-20 tokens and regulated securities backed 1:1 by a first-ranking lien on the property’s land title. Holders earn a “Dynamic Coupon”, a yield that rises when the token trades below the asset’s last independent valuation and falls when it trades above it.

On 22 July 2026 Loaf said it was moving to Arbitrum ahead of its public beta, and Arbitrum’s X account promoted League of Loaf round 2 on 4 September 2026. On 2 October 2026 Loaf signed a memorandum of understanding with Fusion Source Energy covering more than US$500 million of Australian solar and battery projects. That announcement describes on-chain trading of physical assets as still to come. For now the beta runs on mock funds.

How points work

Points set your rank within a round and also add up to an all-time Loaf total. The competition page says “that total will matter” but doesn’t say how, and Loaf hasn’t linked points to a token or an airdrop.

Each round features one market and gives every admitted player 100,000 mock USDC. In rounds 2 and 3 your score is your profit in USDC plus the square root of your trading volume, so profit matters far more than volume. Round 1 (13 to 18 August 2026) scored volume only and paid 4,000 USDC to the top three. Round 2 (7 to 21 September 2026) had 5,000 seats and paid 5,000 USDC across the top 200.

Round 3, “Trade the Phase”, features a testnet market called Western Desert Energy Hub (WDEH). Every other market is halted, and you must trade at least once during the round to be ranked. Its 3,000 USDC pool pays 750, 450 and 250 USDC to the top three and smaller amounts down to 200th place.

After each round the bottom 30% go to the back of the queue, and their seats go to queued players. Referrals move you up the queue. Up to five count, and you need to connect X to refer.

Loaf airdrop step-by-step guide

No Loaf airdrop is confirmed. These steps put you in the League of Loaf queue and, once you get a seat, into a ranked round.

  1. Open the Loaf beta and sign up with an email address or connect a Web3 wallet.

Warning Use only loafmarkets.com, its beta.loafmarkets.com subdomain and links posted by @loafmarkets. The competition uses mock funds and needs no deposit, and no real project asks for your seed phrase.
  2. Open the League of Loaf page and join the queue. The queue exists between rounds too, so you can join at any time.

  3. Connect your X account to get a referral link, then share it. Each referral moves you up the queue, and up to five count.

  4. Once you are admitted to a round, open the Trade tab, pick that round’s featured market (WDEH in round 3), set your position size and place the order.

  5. Trade for profit first, since rounds 2 and 3 score profit plus the square root of volume. Wash trading, trading with yourself and running several accounts can get you disqualified.

  6. If you finish in the top 200, nominate a wallet address or an email for your USDC prize within 30 days of the round’s end. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.

  7. Follow @loafmarkets on X, where Loaf announces each new round.

Loaf costs and fees

The League of Loaf is free. You trade with 100,000 mock USDC per round and don’t deposit anything. You can sign up with an email address, so you don’t need a funded wallet.

Testnet trades carry fees of 0.05% for makers and 0.1% for takers in rounds 2 and 3, taken from your mock balance.

Loaf risks and eligibility

Only the top 200 players in a round win anything. Loaf hasn’t announced a token, a snapshot or an allocation, and a points program doesn’t guarantee a token.

Loaf’s terms say the competition may be unavailable in certain jurisdictions or for certain users, without naming them, and that you are responsible for following your local rules. Loaf can change, suspend or cancel the competition at any time. It can disqualify players for fraud, wash trading, faked volume, multi-accounting or market manipulation, and if it detects matched trading it disqualifies every linked account. The docs don’t mention KYC for prize payouts.

Other crypto tokens use the LOAF ticker. Loaf Markets hasn’t announced a token, so any LOAF token you see doesn’t come from this project. Use only the official domain and never share your seed phrase.

Who is behind Loaf?

Gavin Lee is Loaf’s founder and CEO, according to Loaf’s announcements of July and October 2026. Loaf describes the rest of its team as former quants, Nasdaq engineers and CERN researchers but doesn’t name them. Its October 2026 announcement was datelined Sydney, Australia.

Loaf hasn’t disclosed a funding round or investors, and CryptoRank lists none. The only backing it has announced is a grant from the Arbitrum Foundation, accepted in July 2026, with no amount given. Loaf says the law firm Baker McKenzie helped structure its instruments as regulated securities, issued under a licensed entity it doesn’t name. We found no published security audit.
