Circle and OKX are expanding USDC trading across spot, margin, and futures markets, giving eligible users more ways to trade with the stablecoin on OKX. The expansion comes with a new program that can give qualifying users 100 USDC per month.
The companies announced the expansion on September 2, 2026, as they work to increase USDC liquidity and trading activity across OKX. The new program is funded by Circle and is aimed at users who hold and trade USDC on the exchange.
USDC Trading Expands Across OKX Markets
The latest partnership expands USDC’s use across three major parts of OKX: spot, margin, and futures trading. This gives eligible users more opportunities to use USDC when trading crypto rather than relying on separate assets or fiat conversions.
The move also puts more focus on USDC liquidity within leveraged trading. USDC can be used across supported trading products, although access to specific products and markets depends on the user’s location and eligibility.
Circle has been expanding USDC’s role in crypto trading as demand for dollar-based digital assets grows. Circle said USDC’s share of spot trading volume had tripled year over year through the third quarter of 2025, while its use in perpetual futures and exchange custody also increased.
OKX Offers 100 USDC Monthly Reward
Alongside the wider trading expansion, OKX launched the USDC Margin Growth Program with Circle.
The program offers qualifying users a fixed 100 USDC monthly reward. Users must meet several conditions to qualify:
- Opt into the program.
- Hold at least 20,000 USDC in their OKX Trading Account for 17 consecutive days.
- Record more than 1,000 USDC in single-side trading volume across eligible USDC spot, futures, or margin pairs.
- Be among the first 4,000 qualifying users each month.
The requirements target users with larger USDC balances. Holding 20,000 USDC is required for 17 consecutive days, while the trading requirement must also be met during the qualifying period.
The reward is fixed at 100 USDC rather than being based on the amount traded. Users must also qualify within the monthly limit of 4,000 participants.

Table 1. Circle and OKX’s USDC Expansion Timeline
The timeline shows that the latest trading expansion follows a series of USDC integrations between the two companies, moving from USD conversion and blockchain support toward broader trading use. OKX had already announced expanded USDC support across multiple blockchain networks in its earlier partnership with Circle.
What the Expansion Means for USDC Traders
Wider USDC support gives traders more ways to hold funds in the stablecoin while using different OKX trading products. The expansion also gives USDC a larger role in margin and futures markets, where stablecoins can support trading positions.
For users interested in the new reward program, the main barrier is the 20,000 USDC minimum balance, which must sit in the account for 17 consecutive days, a stretch that’s worth weighing against the reserve risks behind Circle’s stablecoin given the size of the holding required.
The 100 USDC monthly reward is also limited to the first 4,000 users who meet the requirements, so meeting the conditions does not guarantee a reward if the monthly limit has already been reached.
What Comes Next
Circle and OKX have not disclosed every USDC trading pair covered by the expansion. Product availability can also vary by region and user eligibility.
The latest move gives USDC a broader role across OKX, building on the companies’ earlier work on USD conversions and X Layer support. Future changes will depend on whether OKX expands the number of USDC markets and whether more traders adopt USDC for spot, margin, and futures trading.
What this means for you: If you use OKX, you may have more ways to trade with USDC across spot, margin, and futures markets. If you want the 100 USDC monthly reward, you need to hold at least 20,000 USDC for 17 consecutive days, trade more than 1,000 USDC, opt in, and qualify among the first 4,000 users each month.
