Extended Airdrop Guide: Earn Points Before the EXT Token Launch

Disclaimer: Crypto airdrops are promotional events in which tokens are distributed to existing cryptocurrency holders or individuals who meet certain criteria. While airdrops can be a way to acquire tokens at no cost, they also involve risks. There’s no guarantee that the airdropped tokens will increase in value, and there may be associated fees or requirements. Airdrops can also be susceptible to scams and phishing attempts. Always exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any airdrop opportunity before participating.

The Extended airdrop is confirmed, with 30% of the EXT token supply allocated to the early community of points holders. Season 1 of the points program remains active as the project nears its token generation event (TGE).

Extended has set a maximum of 70 million final points after slashing and is currently distributing up to 600,000 points per week until the program ends. The team expects the EXT token launch shortly after the points program ends, although it has not announced an exact TGE date.

Users can earn points through trading, liquidity provision, and referrals, but final airdrop eligibility and the points-to-EXT conversion rate have not yet been published.

What Is Extended?

Extended is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange built on Starknet by a team that includes former Revolut employees.

The platform uses a hybrid central limit order book model, with offchain order processing and matching and onchain settlement on Starknet, which is designed to provide faster execution while keeping users in control of their assets.

The project supports more than 100 perpetual markets across crypto, equities, foreign exchange, commodities, and indices, with leverage of up to 100x on supported markets. By June 2026, the platform had processed more than $245 billion in trading volume.

Extended is also working to decentralize its sequencing layer as part of its roadmap toward future tokenomics.

Extended Funding Round

Extended has raised approximately $19 million in total funding.

Its latest round was a $12.5 million strategic investment led by eToro on July 2, 2026, with participation from Jump Crypto and Alber Blanc.

The investment also launched a partnership to integrate Extended’s perpetual futures infrastructure with Zengo, the self-custody wallet eToro acquired.

Earlier backers include Cyber Fund, Semantic Ventures, and StarkWare.

The eToro investment gives Extended a connection to a large traditional trading platform as it expands its onchain derivatives business. eToro also confirmed the strategic investment in its second-quarter 2026 results.

How to Be Eligible for the Extended Airdrop?

Extended has confirmed that 30% of the token supply remains allocated to its early community of points holders. However, holding points does not automatically guarantee a final token allocation.

The program has a maximum of 70 million final points after slashing. Extended can remove points associated with activity that violates its integrity rules, and the project may make further adjustments before TGE.

The main activities currently associated with points include:

  • Trading perpetual futures
  • Building consistent trading volume
  • Depositing USDC into the Extended vault
  • Holding Extended Vault Shares, or XVS
  • Referring active traders
  • Maintaining genuine platform activity

Extended initially launched Season 1 on April 29, 2025, with distributions of up to 1.2 million points per week. Under the latest community commitment, distributions have been reduced to up to 600,000 points weekly as the program approaches its 70 million-point cap.

How to Participate in the Extended Airdrop

Users can earn Extended points by trading perpetual markets, supplying liquidity through the vault, and using the referral program before Season 1 ends.

Connect a Wallet to Extended

image 70

Visit the official Extended trading platform and connect a compatible wallet.

Extended supports EVM and Starknet wallets. EVM users can deposit and withdraw through networks including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Polygon, while Starknet wallets can use Starknet directly.

Deposit USDC

Deposit USDC to fund your Extended account.

Using a lower-cost network such as Arbitrum can reduce transaction costs when moving funds, but users should always check the currently supported deposit routes in the official interface.

Only deposit an amount you are comfortable using for trading or liquidity provision.

Trade Perpetual Futures

Open long or short positions across Extended’s available markets.

The platform offers more than 100 perpetual markets covering crypto and traditional market-linked assets such as equities, forex, commodities, and indices.

Trading activity contributes to the points program, with points updated weekly on Tuesdays at 00:00 UTC.

Avoid generating unnecessary leveraged volume simply to farm points. Extended offers leverage of up to 100x on supported markets, and losses or liquidation can easily outweigh the value of a future airdrop.

Deposit Into the Extended Vault

image 71

When users deposit USDC, they receive Extended Vault Shares, or XVS. XVS represents the user’s vault position and can continue earning yield while contributing 90% of its value toward trading equity and available balance.

This means vault deposits can function as yield-bearing collateral while users participate in the platform.

Earn Points Through Liquidity Provision

Vault activity is one of the categories used by Extended’s points program.

The vault uses liquidity across perpetual markets and earns revenue from trading activity. Users supplying liquidity can therefore participate without relying entirely on directional leveraged trades.

Vault deposits still carry smart contract, market, and liquidity risks, so they should not be treated as risk-free yield.

Use the Referral Program

image 68

Extended also rewards successful referrals.

Users can enter a referral code to receive applicable trading benefits and can unlock their own referral code after meeting the platform’s trading-volume requirements.

Under the current program rules, users need about $10,000 in trading volume before they can create their own referral code.

Referral activity can earn points, but inviting inactive accounts may not provide the same benefit as referring users who genuinely use the platform.

Track Your Points Before TGE

image 69

Check your points balance after each weekly distribution.

Extended has capped final program points at 70 million after slashing, while current weekly distributions can reach up to 600,000 points. The team has said TGE is expected shortly after the points program ends, but no exact date has been given.

Points that survive slashing still do not guarantee a specific EXT allocation, conversion rate, or token value.
