The popular and fast-growing Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is expanding around the world and it will be offering a unique Web3 development course for close to 30,000 Latin American students. In order to do so, Binance Chain has partnered with the education platform Platzi. This would allow for new projects and initiatives to be developed on top of the Binance Smart Chain blockchain network in the coming years.

Binance Chain Expands With a Web3 Course

In a recent report released by CoinTelegraph, Binance Chain will be working side by side with the education platform Platzi to launch a new Web3 development course for Latin American students. The goal is to attract as many as 30k students in the region and help the Binance Smart Chain platform and the whole crypto ecosystem.

At the same time, the course aims at enhancing developers’ skills. The course will be one of the largest and most advanced educational resources in Spanish for Web2 and Web3 developers that want access to the Binance Chain (BNB chain).

Binance Smart Chain became one of the largest blockchain networks in the world. Thanks to the expansion of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) Ethereum (ETH) experienced scalability issues. Therefore, Binance Chain became one of the main competitors to Ethereum thanks to its fast transaction speeds and low fees compared to other blockchain networks.

At the same time, over the last few years, we have seen a large expansion of Web3 applications and solutions. Some of them included DeFi apps while others were related to NFTs. Therefore, there has been an expansion in terms of solutions offered in the crypto market.

Gwendolyn Regina, investment director at BNB Chain, explained that this is one of the main educational resources in Spanish for Web2 and Web3 developers. Education is going to play a key role for future developers considering the region has been growing as one of the main hubs for crypto adoption and promotion.

On that matter, Regina mentioned:

“If we increase the accessibility to resources to build Web3 tools on BNB Chain, we can significantly support the development of the region.”

Let’s also not forget that El Salvador was the first country in the world to make Bitcoin (BTC) legal tender, which allowed new investments and courses to come to the country. At the same time, Jimmy Song arrived in El Salvador to offer one of the most advanced programming courses to people in the country, allowing the local population to get experience programming Bitcoin.

With this initiative from Binance Chain and Platzi, the goal is to continue educating local communities when it comes to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Some of the main issues that make it difficult for people to get access to the crypto industry include a lack of educational options at the local level and unclear regulations from national governments. Binance is definitely taking the lead when it comes to offering better opportunities to Latin American developers.
