The Brave browser allows users to surf the web without having to provide private information about them. That means that the company focuses on privacy. Users that want to share their information with approved publishers can do so and they will receive rewards for the attention they give with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT).
The BAT token is one of the largest cryptocurrencies in the market. According to CoinMarketCap, BAT is the 34th largest digital currency in the market with a price of $0.2 per coin and a valuation of $259 million.
As reported by a Reddit user called IamMeeoh, a few weeks ago, the number of publishers using Brave grew 1,000% in the last 12 months. In July 2018, the number of publishers was close to 18,930 and it recently surpassed 210,000.
It is worth pointing out that some of the most recognized users of Brave Rewards are Twitch streamers and YouTube channels. At the same time, Twitter is now allowing users to register their accounts and receive tips for the tweets they do. Reddit posts can also receive tips from BAT users.
The number of user on the Brave ecosystem is growing with companies registering themselves to receive BAT rewards from users. Publishers and other parties are also interested in earning with BAT, a web browser that has been growing over the last year.
The Redditor is also asking whether the growth registered in the number of publishers is comparable with the number of users.
He commented about it:
“I wonder if the growth in users is comparable. Personally, I think so. It would be hard to imagine all these creators jumping on board with no corresponding user growth.”
As mentioned before, the new Twitter tipping functionality allows individuals to tip other users according to the content they place. Creators will have to activate their accounts on Brave so as to receive the funds and tips.
In the last 24 hours, the BAT digital asset, grew 1.66%.
