Some days ago, EOS was able to finish its Mainnet token swap, an important event after launching its mainnet. Its blockchain network has been live for just a week, but it has an unusual approach to governance. And indeed lots of individuals are talking about that.

This time, the EOS Core Arbitration Forum, also known as ECAF, was organized to resolve any disputes in the EOS community. And they have decided to not block transactions from 27 wallet addresses. At the moment, there is no official explanation about this decision.

In an announcement, they inform that the EOS Block Producers refuse to process transactions for some accounts and keys indefinitely. Then, they explain that further official notice and instruction form the ECAF will be provided. EOS Cryptocurrency

The document is signed by Sam Sapoznick as ECAF Interim Emergency Arbitrator. Moreover, he explained that ‘the logic and reasoning for this Order will be posted at a later date.’

As of the time of writing there has been no official announcement about the decision taken. But there has been a lot of speculation about that. One of the possibilities is that these accounts were related to theft and have been recognised and blocked.

A Reddit user called AnubisRooster says that the account ‘3urgwfq32tmq’ has been receiving funds from the other accounts and after it moved to other two addresses listed.

Moreover, he is moving more over $1 million EOS coins, which is an important amount of money. The community deserves to know which accounts are doing dirty business and they should be suspended in case that’s proven.

During the Reddit discussion, the user twelker1625 said:

“The accounts were frozen at the request of the rightful owners AFTER they submitted proof. Though the system is still in its infancy and not finalized, it is working as it was designed to do.”

Unfortunately, there is no proof about what the user tells. But it is clear that if the accounts where used for illicit activities it is a good decision to block them. Until then, the community will be waiting for an explanation.
