The following Starbucks Odyssey Journey will include a stamp “designed by Aku” and a $100,000 donation to the charity Blessings in a Backpack, which fights childhood hunger.

On its dedicated Discord channel, Starbucks’ Web3 loyalty program Odyssey announced a new partnership with non-fungible token (NFT) collection Aku for its upcoming digital collectible Stamp.

The Aku collection, designed by former Major League Baseball player Micah Johnson, encourages young children to dream big. Celebrities like Tyra Banks, Pusha T, and Trevor Noah have bought NFTs from the collection.

The new Journey called “Aku Adventure” by Starbucks will debut on July 17 and allow Odyssey users to “embark on a mission with Aku.” The new Stamp was “designed by Aku,” according to the Discord thread, and Odyssey participants will still be allowed to access the Journey through August 13, 2023.

In addition, Starbucks disclosed that as part of the launch, they would provide $100,000 to the charity Blessings in a Backpack, which works to combat child hunger.

For a number of months, Starbucks has been distributing limited-edition NFTs to members of the exclusive Odyssey loyalty program. “The Siren Collection,” which included 2,000 Stamps priced at $100 each, was released by the company in March. Demand for the drop was so great that some eager collectors complained of lengthy wait times and technical difficulties. The coffee chain’s “The Starbucks First Store Collection,” a 5,000-piece Stamp collection with a $99 price tag, was introduced in April with a smoother roll-out.
