Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock is bullish on Bitcoin (BTC). In a recent interview on Fox News, Larry Fink talked about Bitcoin and how this represents the digitalization of gold. He has also talked about the largest cryptocurrency as a hedge against inflation and as an international asset.

BlackRock CEO: Bitcoin is an International Asset

During a recent interview with FOX News, Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock talked about Bitcoin and digital currencies. Surprisingly for many, he said that Bitcoin could work as an asset that people can “play as an alternative.”

About Bitcoin and digital currencies, Fink said:

“The world of crypto is digitalizing gold in many ways. Instead of investing in gold as a hedge against inflation a hedge against promises of any country or devaluation of currency, Bitcoin is an international asset and is not based in any currency.”

Bitcoin has been traded above $30,000 for a few weeks already and it continues to attract investors from all over the world. At UseTheBitcoin, we have reported that Valkyrie filed for a spot Bitcoin ETF as other companies in the market.

There is a growing interest from larger investors and institutions that are searching to diversify their investments and gain exposure to the world’s largest digital currency.
