Grass Network’s Stage 2 Rewards Checker went live on the Grass Dashboard, letting past contributors see what they are owed before claims open. Grass is a Solana-based network that pays users for sharing unused internet bandwidth, routed to AI companies and data buyers for web scraping and model training. The token this round is not GRASS. It is USDC, a change Grass Foundation says keeps the payout accessible to eligible users across different jurisdictions.
Claiming does not open until July 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST. Eligible users then have until January 22, 2027 to submit a claim through the official dashboard. Grass states plainly that unclaimed rewards after that date are forfeited and retained by Grass.
Am I Eligible For The Grass Stage 2 Airdrop?
Eligibility is tied entirely to the Epoch 1 through 19 window, October 14, 2024 through June 8, 2026. There is no new sign-up path for this round. If you contributed bandwidth through Grass during that period and connected a Solana wallet as part of Stage 2, your allocation should already be visible once you log in.
Grass airdrop or Grass’ Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, Section 3, tie the final reward amount to connection time, connection stability, and location. The terms also let Grass disqualify anyone who used a VPN to get around geographic restrictions, with already-claimed tokens subject to revocation.
If you live in a jurisdiction Grass classifies as prohibited under Section 3, including countries currently under sanctions such as Iran, Russia, and North Korea, you are not eligible regardless of your participation history.
Grass has not disclosed how many wallets qualify for Stage 2. Treat any third-party estimate of the payout pool as unconfirmed until Grass publishes a figure. For anything not covered here, Grass Foundation posts official updates through its X account, @grassfdn, which is the account to follow before trusting any other source on eligibility or timing changes.
How To Claim Your Grass Stage 2 Rewards
Follow these steps in order. Steps 1 through 3 work right now. Steps 4 through 6 only work after 1:00 PM EST on July 22, 2026.
- Go to the Grass Dashboard and log in with the account you used for Stage 2.
- Open the Allocation tab inside the dashboard.
- Review your estimated reward in the Rewards Checker. This number reflects your Epoch 1 through 19 activity and may still shift slightly before claims open.
- After 1:00 PM EST on July 22, 2026, return to the Grass Dashboard and open the Allocation tab again.
- Confirm your claim when prompted.
- Wait for the USDC to land in your in-app, self-custodial wallet. Grass says a network fee is deducted to cover the on-chain cost of delivering the funds, though it has not published the exact amount, and that Grass does not keep that fee itself.
The in-app wallet is self-custodial, meaning Grass cannot move funds out of it on your behalf. You can export it at any time. If you are new to what that means for your funds, our guide on self-custodial wallets breaks down the tradeoffs before you claim.
Risks To Know Before You Claim
No airdrop claim is risk-free, and Grass’s own terms spell out several worth reading before you connect a wallet.
Phishing and fake claim sites
Grass states it will never message you first and will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. The only legitimate place to check or claim is app.grass.io/dashboard. Treat any other site running a Grass eligibility check as fake.
Wallet loss has no recourse
If you lose access to your self-custodial wallet, through a lost recovery phrase or a compromised device, Grass will not reissue the reward. You also cannot switch to a different wallet mid-claim.
Geographic and sybil enforcement
Using a VPN to appear eligible from a different country is a violation Grass can penalize, including clawing back tokens already claimed.
The deadline is hard
Any reward not claimed by January 22, 2027 is retained by Grass rather than paid out later.
Payment terms can shift without notice
Grass already switched Stage 2 payouts from GRASS to USDC over regulatory concerns, and its terms give the company broad discretion to change eligibility criteria or mechanics for future rounds. Tax reporting on whatever you receive is also your responsibility, not Grass’s.

Frequently Asked Questions
Here are the questions that come up most often about the Grass Stage 2 claim.
Is the Grass Stage 2 airdrop active right now?
The Rewards Checker is active, so you can see your estimated balance today. The claim itself opens July 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST, so the distribution is best described as upcoming until that date.
Will I receive GRASS tokens or something else?
Stage 2 rewards are paid in USDC, not GRASS. Grass Foundation says this is meant to keep the payout accessible across eligible jurisdictions given ongoing regulatory uncertainty around crypto tokens.
Do I need the Grass Desktop app installed to claim?
Claiming happens through the Grass Dashboard in your browser. The Desktop app or browser extension only matters for the bandwidth-sharing activity that earned the reward during Epochs 1 through 19.
What happens if I miss the January 22, 2027 deadline?
Grass’s terms state that any unclaimed reward after that date is forfeited and retained by Grass, with no grace period described.
Can I use a VPN if I am in a restricted country?
Grass’s Rewards Program Terms explicitly prohibit using a VPN to get around geographic restrictions, and violations can lead to disqualification and revocation of already-claimed tokens.
