Anoma Airdrop Guide: Testnet, XAN Season 1 and Season 2 Status

Anoma

Status (October 2026): The XAN token launched on Ethereum on September 29, 2025. Season 1 airdrop claims, which counted testnet rank, closed on October 5, 2025. Anoma has said a bigger Season 2 is coming but has not published dates for it on its blog. Sources: Anoma blog, Anoma on X.

Key Takeaways

  • Anoma is a decentralized operating system for Web3, designed to unify blockchain ecosystems by enabling intent-centric applications, allowing users to express desired outcomes (intents) rather than crafting complex transactions, simplifying development and user experience across multiple chains.
  • The Anoma Testnet, launched in July 2025, offers a gamified, 3D interface to visualize intent flows, providing an interactive and educational platform for users and developers to explore its distributed OS, with features like privacy-preserving transactions and cross-chain interoperability.
  • Access to the permissioned testnet required an invite code from Anoma’s official channels (e.g., X, Discord). Testnet rank was one of the criteria for the XAN Season 1 airdrop, which closed for claims on October 5, 2025.

Disclaimer: Crypto airdrops are promotional events where tokens are distributed to existing holders of a cryptocurrency or to individuals who meet certain criteria. While airdrops can be a way to acquire tokens at no cost, they also involve risks. There’s no guarantee that the airdropped tokens will increase in value, and there may be associated fees or requirements. Additionally, airdrops can be susceptible to scams and phishing attempts. Always exercise caution and verify the legitimacy of any airdrop opportunity before participating.

What Is Anoma?

1500x500 1

Anoma is a decentralized operating system designed to unify Web3 by enabling intent-centric applications, allowing users to express desired outcomes (e.g., “swap 10 ETH for BTC privately”) rather than crafting complex transactions, thus simplifying development and user experience across multiple blockchains.

Its testnet, launched in phases starting with Feigenbaum in December 2021, is an interactive, gamified platform that showcases this intent-driven architecture through a 3D interface, enabling users and developers to explore features like private cross-chain transfers, intent gossip networks, and proof-of-stake consensus while earning points for participation.

Anoma $60 Million Funding Round

The Anoma Foundation, which oversees the development of the Anoma blockchain protocol and its privacy-focused Layer-1 blockchain Namada, has raised significant funds across multiple rounds to support its innovative intent-centric distributed operating system for decentralized applications.

In April 2021, Anoma secured $6.75 million in a private token sale led by Polychain Capital, followed by a $26 million round in November 2021, also led by Polychain, with participation from investors like Coinbase Ventures, Electric Capital, and others, valuing the project at $260 million.

In May 2023, a $25 million Series C round was led by CMCC Global, bringing the total funding to $60.25 million. Additionally, in January 2025, a $2.5 million community-driven round was completed on Echo.xyz, led by Native Crypto and CMS Holdings, with nearly 900 backers, aimed at supporting Anoma’s go-to-market activities and mainnet launch.

These funds have fueled the development of Anoma’s testnet, including the Feigenbaum testnet launched in 2021 and subsequent phases, which serve as a gamified, interactive platform for testing its intent-centric architecture and privacy features.

How To Participate In The Anoma Testnet Airdrop?

The testnet was permissioned and required an invite code. It supported quests, mini-games and social tasks, and testnet rank later counted toward the XAN Season 1 airdrop. Anoma has since started its mainnet rollout, and its payments network, AnomaPay, is live on Base, Arbitrum and other networks.

The steps below show how the 2025 testnet campaign worked. Season 1 is over, and Anoma has not published Season 2 rules, so it is unclear whether new testnet activity will count.

👉 STEP 1: Head over to https://testnet.anoma.net/ and enter an invite code.

To get an invite code:

  • The top 100 yappers from last week will receive the first testnet invite codes.
  • If you have not received the code, follow @anoma and the project team on X.
  • Also, keep an eye on Discord and AMAs, as the team may send codes there.

👉 STEP 2: If you have received the code, connect your wallet and complete quests to farm points.

Anoma XAN Airdrop: Season 1 and Season 2

Season 1 registration closed on September 22, 2025. Eligible groups included Kaito yappers and stakers, active Discord members and testnet users, whose eligibility was based on testnet rank. Claims opened when XAN launched on September 29, 2025 and closed on October 5, 2025 at 9:00 UTC.

Anoma said in September 2025 that Season 2 would be bigger and would reward yappers, Discord members, Shrimpers NFT holders and app testers, with the largest rewards going to people who keep contributing after TGE. For Season 1, Anoma told users to trust only claim.anoma.foundation, so use only claim links posted on Anoma’s official X account or website.
